Classroom Closet Initiative
Currently, ACE is in the process of collecting donations to stock the Classroom Closet including office supplies, art supplies and those discards that you might not think useable but teachers can use. During the month of July, ACE is encouraging our local businesses to clean out their closets and donate gently used, out of date items that our teachers can use in the classroom.

Donations may be dropped off at ACE's Classroom Closet, located at 1317 Plaza Drive - near IZOD - at Burlington Outlet Village (exit 145 off I-85/40)

Humane Society of Alamance County - Indoor Yard Sale

Pet Adoption Fair
The Humane Society of Alamance County invites you to meet your perfect pet at Burlington Outlet Village (Exit 145 off I-85/40) in the Hanes Mill Outlet building, near IZOD. Adoption fairs are held the third Saturday of each month at BOV. They have beautiful dogs, with wonderful personalities, in need of "fur-ever" homes. Volunteers will be on hand to introduce you to animals from 11:00AM-1:00PM. Local farmers and craft vendors are waiting to serve you at this great weekly event, offering easy interstate access, a central location, and ample parking. Come support your local farmers and artisans as you enjoy the bounty of our region with wine from the Haw River valley, source-verified local beef, pork and poultry, farm-fresh eggs, local honey, baked goods, cheeses, homemade preserves, pickles, and relishes – and an abundance of high quality, seasonal fruits and vegetables. In addition, we have talented craftspeople and artisans, who offer handmade one-of-a-kind creations. 2009 Burlington Farmers' Market - Entertainment Application
The market will be held each Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The 2009 market season will begin on April 19 and run through October 25. Entertainers will perform in the indoor area of our market. We are accepting applications for the 2009 season, which will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. A waiting list will be maintained.
